編按：香港大學校長張翔教授6月13日（周六）為灼見名家主辦的第六屆腹有詩書──全港小學校際中國語文常識問答比賽主禮，他表示在人工智能（AI）時代下，人類的工作效率比不上AI，在創造和想像力方面須保持優勢，年輕一代要透過汲收中華文化智慧，提升文化素養，而香港大學也十分重視人文學科的發展，以下為發言全文。 我相信各位家長、同學都對「腹有詩書氣自華」這句話有自己的見解，讓我也談談一些個人的見解。 從宏觀角度來說，我們的民族擁有5000年的歷史，要達致「氣自華」，年輕人認識歷史、掌握中華文化，傳承優秀的文學和歷史財產非常重要。一個國家的自信是從它的文化根基建立起來，所以青年一代要對自己的民族文化和文學有所認識，才能有自信。 從個人角度看，剛才我看到小朋友走進來，那確實是「氣自華」。因為你們讀了詩書，領會到中國文學、中華文明的博大精深，對個人精神的提升和成長都有所幫助。培養自己的氣質，對國家、個人來說都很重要。 社會面貌與過去500年截然不同 過去，可能歷任港大校長都會強調，年輕人正身處在一個快速變化的世界，但在AI時代裏，今天的小朋友尤為如此。這
